“Growth Mantra for small businesses” — One-on-one interaction with Piyush Sharma in 2027
The goal is to make money, the purpose is to help people.
Helping over one lakh businesses by giving them their ‘online address’ during the pandemic and the rest is history!
Here is the inspiring story of Piyush Sharma, Founder, and CEO of WhatsNextWay who turned the 2021 crisis into an opportunity and turned the fate of over one lakh small businesses with his simple, yet a smart idea.
Piyush is a reputed Digital Marketing Consultant, Entrepreneur, Author, Mentor, Investor, and of course an automobile enthusiast with a bunch of amazing bike and car collections.
He was born in a middle-class family in Kota, Rajasthan, and then later moved to Agra, the city of Taj Mahal.
Today, his customers, trainees, and allies are testimonies to the amazing work Piyush is doing to help small businesses meet their dreams and aspirations. He cares for his customers and focuses on building meaningful long-term partnerships with them.
He believes in the fact that “if you have more money, you can help more people”. It’s a simple yet not so easy thing to do. His prime purpose is to help people and small businesses with the best digital growth strategies, innovation, and techniques.
Piyush Sharma owns WhatsNextWay, an IT company headquartered in the urban blocks of Noida, and has calculated Rs. 70 crores of annual revenue in the last fiscal year. WhatsNextWay is the also parent company of LifeNextWay, a Saas company that provides software solutions to its esteemed clients in the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia.
Both WhatsNextWay and LifeNextWay are among the ‘best workplaces in India’ and have earned prestigious awards for their exemplary growth, innovation, and employee management. Both the organizations have a special place for Freshers and have a dedicated team to train well the freshers and make them the best professionals out there.
His Digital Marketing journey started in 2018 post his MBA from Noida. Soon he realized that he will build a career in Digital Marketing by maximizing his learnings and executing the best strategies for his customers and also in developing his digital assets that could become his passive income.
The world turned their eyes towards him when people came to know that a person in a tier 2 city like Agra has turned more than 1 lakh small businesses into online businesses and that too in just 8 months collectively. The jaw-dropping fact is that all this happened when India was grappling with the second wave of the Coronavirus in 2021 and his city was under a stringent lockdown.
‘I could see the glitters and aspirations in the eyes of people when their website and Facebook page were live. People in small cities aspire for online businesses but they lack awareness and the right people with whom they can work and achieve their goals’ he says.
Along with his love for tech and startups, he is also moved by investing in prime commercial real estate as he believes that it is still one of the fine ways to mint money and fulfill his dreams.
He is fond of performance machines and has a collection of some really cool bikes. The latest fleet has a Triumph Scrambler 1200, KTM Superduke 1200R, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, and a BMW S1000RR lined up. Mouthwatering! Isn’t it?
Along with all this, Piyush has an affection for his furry friends, he connects and contributes to volunteers, shelter homes, and people who can feel the pain of the street animals, the voiceless ones who cannot tell if they are hungry, hurt, or are in pain.
“By being called ‘civilized people’, it should be in our conscience that we do not harm the voiceless souls. Street animals do not have homes like yours, or health insurance to get world-class treatments. They do not have the luxury to order food from Zomato, Swiggy, etc. Their survival on roads is a matter of pure luck. Only humans can help and give them a dignified life. Everyone can do their bit by simply feeding them whenever possible.” he says.
For all the success he achieved, he gives his sincere thanks to his mentor Deepak Kanakraju without whom he couldn’t have achieved the Version 2.0 that he is today.
